Awww pete I don't know what to say apart from depression is an evil thing and it switches on when you least expect it, life can be hard enough with the ups and downs without the helping hand of depression.
I really hope you start feeling better soon xx |

Week 3 - I've got love for you if you were born in the 80's
Both me and my car are 80's children. I was cleaning it with much gusto this morning when that song came on the radio and it's been stuck in my head all day! Anyway, I bought some new wheels for my old girl last week and they've been fitted. This weekend, she's been lowered and I've put hours of elbow grease into getting her gleaming. Pretty good job, even if I do say so myself. Not bad for a £350 car

Nice shot Kate, you love that car, and it shows!
*hugs* Pete. You know where I am x Yesterday's shot is another from the cemetery. The light was really pretty.

365.14.180109 Feeling better today thanks to everyones nice comments yesterday and some sleep. Spent some time reading a few HDR discussions. Same old silly comments. I think the worst offender is the way people see HDR as something outside of normal photography. It think its a bit dangerous to do so. HDR is no different to RAW. Its a way of getting more detail out of your photos. HDR, B&W, colour, lomo, are all ways of getting the end result. Its all photography. The sooner people simply accept it as a photographic technique and move on the better. If you don't, well I have a gun. I will end you.

Nice one Pete, glad you feel better today. IMO HDR is just another method of photographing something, no more no less.
Kate, great shot, car looking fabulous. 18th January I lifted things and drilled things today. Rah! Need a bath.

Great pic, Kitten. You're right, the light is very pretty. Very serene shot, I like it.
Pete - Glad to hear that you're feeling better today. That looks like someone else's hand. Quite spooky! Vix - I fully concur with that feeling. Just wish we had a bath... well... one which was plumbed in anyway Thanks for the comments on the car pic Kitten - you're right, I do love it I bought it as a stop-gap, but I can't see me ever wanting to get rid of it now. It's grown on me.

Lostkat - I'm in love with that car. Always have been. Yours looks fantastic in that shot too.
Pete - Sorry to hear about how you're feeling at the moment, I've been reading but not commented, it's a real shame and whilst I don't think it will help to tell you to avoid any negative comments, and I don't heed my own advice because it upsets me over the most stupid things on OcUK too, I don't like thinking I've upset people, but from everything I've seen you post you've been nothing but brilliant, helpful, polite and kind. Oh, and your photo's are great too, the second one raising a laugh . *man hugs*. Kitten - Love the cemetery, very nice and a mix of moody and pretty, but a graveyard and then the death of Tony Hart... bit morbid . Love the simplicity of the second one though. |
