Currently working my way through the Borderlands DLC I bought ages ago and never touched! Finished the Zombie Island this morning which was rather good and now I'm onto Mad Moxxie's Underdome. Looks like I'm going to struggle trying to play that one on my own though. |

A very eclectic mix of games to keep me busy this coming week: SOCOM and Half Minute Hero on the PSP, Darwinia and Guitar Hero Van Halen on the 360, Phantasy Star Zero for the DS and erm Disney Sing It Pop Hits and Astro Boy for the Wii.
Wonder if any of them will be as great as Heavy Rain......hmm no

Forza 3 Forza 3 & Nothing but Forza 3.
I've concentrated my time the last few weeks so that I could get my head around how the game implements Tuning/Handling & a few days ago I turned the corner. I now have the facts & figures logged into my head so deep I remember them the minute I go to my garage. I use a tuning calculator to handle the Maths & feel to fine tune them & the results show in my lap times. The game gives me Everything I want & is a Dream come true as far as Racing/Modding & tuning goes & as I've got deeper into it the game has been Much more rewarding than my usual sporadic sessions with other titles on the 360. BF2 still gets played Obviously as that is My game when it comes to FPS but I've been getting into a bit of Company of Heroes lately as I am playing that on my 40 inch Sammy HD. The extra room on the screen helps loads with the claustrophobic feeling I get from the game played on my Benq. The viewing distance is just far to close for a small screen but it's sound on the forty. |

Heavy Rain.
So far it has exceeded my expectations, it's better than Fahrenheit, i just hope it keeps the standards so high and doesn't have a poor ending like its predecessor. I really hope games of this style become more mainstream, i hate the thought of waiting as long as i did between Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain all over again.

Wouldn't say worst from what I've seen so far, about on par with GH: Aerosmith really....which is pretty poor compared to the earlier GHs

GH:A is better purely as it's a proper GH game, i.e, not full band.

BF:BC2 out on Friday so I'm delaying Heavy Rain until I start getting tired of that (give it time to get cheap secondhand hopefully as well). Just hope I can avoid spoilers until then. Anyone else going to be on BC2 over the coming days? (Esp if you're on PC )

It's a game I'd love to play but this is a pipe dream. They signed an exclusivity deal with the most expensive console so mainstream is far from their focus....
