OK, the windows and doors are finished (Well almost). The wrong panels in the kitchen door were ordered so they're coming back to swap those over. They also noticed a scratch on a handle and some damaged lock pieces so they're replacing them too. Excellent company to deal with.

So, here's the main changes out front.

Quite a striking change, I think you'll agree

Still need to repaint above the bay window and sort the telephone cable but that won't take too long.

Now onto indoors...

...inside the bay window.

These consumer units will be coming down. One is being removed totally whilst the other is being replaced with a new one and will be a bove the front door and then all boxed in.

The French doors have really increased the light we have.

You can see the back of the house...

All of this will be repainted in a cream, apart from the bare brick on the left hand side. We'll give that a good clean up instead.

The plasterer is in on Monday to start his work so the room should really start to take some shape

You have the same door handle as your neighbours

It looks great though. I don't know how you had the vision when you bought the house, I'd have run away screaming, but you are going to put so much value on it as well as making it a lovely place to live.

It's a HUGE improvement! It's starting to come together really nicely - me like a lot!

It's been a hard slog organising everything but we're slowly getting there.

Having to live at the rents is handy...but I really miss our home :/

I LOOOVE your front door, it's so nice. Massive improvement too. It's going to feel like a new house when you move back in and you'll love it. Amazing how much difference some new windows can make isn't it

I still love ours, and they were only cheap jobbies. Yours look really nice and in keeping with the house.
