Mine's been pretty good on the new DSL line. I keep being surprised at how quick the 'download completed' notification keeps popping up! I do wish they'd just put a Kbps figure on the active downloads page.

Works out as about 80p for 300 doesn't it? Seems pretty good compared to most rental services considering I would have XBL and a broadband connection regardless. Nice bonus

I was chatting to a guy in the pub after work today who's been doing game reviewing for Sony and Nintendo for years, and he's good friends with the Rockstar guys in Leeds. He told he he's played some GTA4 with them, and it's absolutely awesome. I wanted to hit him for playing the game so early, but it's nice to know it's coming along so well

I'm going to be nice to him as he does supply teaching at the school. He might give me some games or something then

Anybody still have Crackdown? Mates just leant it me for the Christmas break and it'd be cool if a) someone could show me the ropes and b) I could test out how my netcon handles online play over Live, i've not tried anything yet
