483. Chances of finding the other 17?! Slim.
Was good fun, I especially liked doing the tower again.

Bit of a Brucey Bonus today. Had our BT Vision box arrive, and bizzarely, comes with 2 free 200Mbps powerline adapters (only paid £30 for a 160GB freeview recorder in the first place!). Could well save me having to cable outside the house to reach the switch behind our telly, which the 360 uses

Very nice Daz Been tempted by those lately, be handy for the house. Although don't quite understand the technology behind it

I think I have one somewhere, it's just finding the time to walk the entire map looking for them. Now there's new content I'm hoping to go back and find some by accident whilst playing. Found one last night. \o/

Indeed they are, use the power cables in the walls to shunt data down These ones are theoretical 200Mbps but I dont expect anywhere near that. Even if it's ~80Mbps though, should still be plenty for media streaming and I dont believe they're known for high latency. Gonna try them out in the week and do some tests with the laptop on the end before the 360

Should be better for you as you've got better cabling than our house though I would be interested to try it.

Put the powerline adapters in today. Working fine but the pings have gone up, and seem to spike a little from time to time. Need to get online and see if it actually translates to any real lag though. I dont do much online play so as long as it isn't consistently horrific it may well stay. It's certainly fine for everything else (marketplace downloading, laptop docking and BT Vision on demand).
