I didn't know if it was my post that was being referred to, so I nuked it to avoid the naughty step.

I don't know who it was but if you're talking about Breaking Dawn and the bit I think you mean, that is a MASSIVE spoiler & I'd be livid if I hasn't seen the film as it's not in the book.

Ah OK! No regrets. You'll either want to watch it from that review, or not!

Life of Pi 3D - 9/10
Really good. Matt's read the book and said the film wasn't a disappointment. Worth going to see in 3D (imho) because the cinematography is absolutely incredible and the subject lends itself perfectly to this. What you'd expect from Ang Lee, really. Some really sad bits but a couple of surprisingly laugh out loud moments too. Still giggling at 2 of them 3 days later. Oh, I'm thinking of changing my name to Richard Parker, but only to Indians. I love the way he says his name!

Could you just answer one question. Having seen the trailers it looks like just a dude and a tiger in a boat in the ocean. Is that where the film is set and the only place they show?
Trying to decide if I wanna see it or not |

No, it obviously takes up a large chunk of the time on the water but there is a back story and other stuff going on too. I can explain more offline if you want to know a bit more. I was thinking the same tbh but got free tickets. Had I paid, I'd be more than happy

Life Of Pi..... 9/10
Lovely story, plenty of laughs and a few weepy moments. Visually stunning, it'd be a crime not to see it in 3D! |
