How did you manage that? There is too much ammo available to carry, even on hard

The game does go on too long as well and is certainly a tad too shooty for my liking but I can forgive it most of it's failings. Some great set pieces, a good epic storty and fantastic characterisation raises it well above the bar. I managed to get another 40 or so minutes of Alan Wake in earlier (Ch. 2) and it's really hit a chord with me. Love the art style, the story, the music, the pacing and the combat. I can see how one would tire of it if they tried to power through it but at the right tempo it's all good. Last edited by Aboobie; 17-05-2010 at 16:53. |

Despite playing UC2, Heavy Rain, Pokemon HeartGold, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell: Conviction and Demon's Souls it's still my Goty. (Had to get this in before Red Dead gets here!) |

I'm currently playing through Alan Wake and I have to say I'm finding it pretty enjoyable. I'm loving the story and really want to get to the end so I can find out exactly what the hell is going on. I don't like how close the camera is to Alan, so that when Taken attack me from behind I have no idea they're there, but other than that I'm finding it really intriguing, and I love the episodic way it's laid out. 3 chapters down, 3 to go, I'll definitely have it finished by tomorrow night so I can leave my entire weekend clear for Red Dead Redemption, which looks like a potential GOTY candidate.

I really need to get a new game of sorts as i'm sure at some point Rock Band will become boring. I have loads of other games to play as well, I just feel very 'meh' whenever I play them.
Problem is, I don't know what games are out that would work for me, and I have no money.
