I didn't read that, but apparently if you've got O2 broadband, that counts as an existing customer according to the o2 Twitter.

I drove past the local o2 shop in Brentwood just around 07:00 and I counted about 30 people outside. I'm told it was up to over 50 by half seven.

100 in Reading (also at half seven). They had one of them on the phone (obviously not new iPhone, yet) on the local radio station.

Store opens at 8.02am.

Currently sat in a coffee shop. O2 call died after 1hr. Guy said he'd get it sorted before my photoshoot at 1. Here's hoping. At least this place is warm.
