Thing is, becoming a parent is as you say fairly easy to do in terms of biology, but the emotional aspect of it is fairly significant and I can completely understand people sharing their excitement. It's easy enough to filter the newsfeeds on FB if you're not interested

Adverts for companies that have nothing to do with Facebook asking you to like them on Facebook - you're not hip, trendy or cool by having the thumbs-up and a Facebook page, you're a sodding corporate monolith, behave like one you plum.

It's just something I've noticed recently but both Kia and Philips seem to be asking you to "like" them and I've had to do a double-take to reassure myself exactly what they were advertising.

This may seem rational, but people not cleaning up after their dog. No idea where it was from but it got onto my trainers, jeans, the carpet at home and in the car. I actually have a colleague who doesn't see anything wrong with it, fine the ********.

Also people who don't have to use the tube during rush hour who do, or who don't understand most people don't enjoy the morning commute taking over 2 hours and wish to exceed a snail. Two people decided to have a bloody reunion on Oxford Circus platform this morning.

Oh, and train drivers who stop at a different place on the platform every morning. Impossible to predict where to stand when it varies by 30ft.

Bah.

These two things grind my gears

1) Spent all of last week dodging a turd on the pavement en route to the station... made all the worse by some poor victim having trodden in it and spreading it across the width of the path... then on the walk home having to use the light on my camera to find it.

2) Bugbear of Charlton train users... sometimes 4 carriage trains stop where the 12 carriage trains stop. i.e. if you come onto the platform as the 4 carriage is pulling in, you have to sprint to the front of the train.

Rubbish.

Bah.
Me too, as I dog owner I find it reprehensible, and gives those of us who are responsible and clean up after our dogs, a bad image.

The annoying meme (mostly on Twitter) of starting posts with 'That awkward moment when...' followed by a hilarious take on something banal.

And similarly, when someone thinks they've posted something clever and/or controversial and ends it with 'Just saying'. I'm finding both increasingly cringeworthy.

I must be in a bad mood today!

People who ignore road markings as they are obviously of the opinion they're more important than everyone else and thus the rules of the road do not apply to them, such as the people who cut me up nearly every day coming home from work who turn right out of the left turn only lane so they can jump the queue of traffic turning right.

It's even had a whacking great left pointing arrow painted on the road since that photo too, just in case it wasn't obvious enough from the way the lanes are completely unaligned

I LOVE the trouble you've gone to to illustrate your annoyance. Bravo! *claps*
