You arrive at Waterloo. Your train is waiting. It leaves in about ten minutes. Do you a) walk down the platform and check to see which carriages have spare seats so you can board and sit down or b) get on the first carriage and walk the length of the train with a suitcase and backpack, knocking into folk and pissing peope off? Seems like a no-brainer. As in, 'that guy must have no brain'.

Delays on the tube combined with being on the carriage closest to the platform entrance...

There are now a million people on this carriage and only 4 in the next one!

You arrive at Charlton. Train is at the platform Realise that season ticket is out of date and need to touch in Oyster. 0.5 of a second looking for Oyster Card ensures that the train pulls out of the station.

Bugger

Asda.

(Actually, I only needed a few things, which were cheap and easy to find, but despite it being nearly empty the number of witless morons was startling!)

The toasted part is because you can have it either toasted or microwaved, I generally prefer microwaved.

The cheese thing is just daft though

Hahaha, i actually ask for the melt without cheese ALL the time! Like the mix of meat, but i despise the "cheese" they use...

This joke kind of sums it up in one way

I finally found the true meaning of xmas today. It's for people who can't spell Christmas.
I cal it Christmas when I'm talking about it as I get blank looks when I call it Winter Solstice, although I could just say Yule. I spell it Xmas because I don't like using the christ part. Garp has of course just put an end to that

Regarding Easter, it's Ostara or spring equinox, both of which get blank looks so its best just to stick to the norm! What I call it doesn't change how or why I celebrate it!!

Isn't Winter Solstice an entirely different day though? I don't know much about it but thought it was Dec 21st for the shortest day of the year rather than 25th?
