Had a bit of a nightmare day at the house yesterday. The plasterer is in today and we needed to get the electrics in and sorted so he could make good around them. So I set to work chasing down the walls and cutting holes for the sockets. A combination of a whinging neighbour, no food to eat and me not really knowing what I'm doing put me in a bit of a bad mood
There's brick dust everywhere and holes twice the size they need to be, lol. Still, I got the bulk of it done and only have to do some wiring tonight so not a problem. As said, plasterer is starting today so this week is where the place starts to take a turn for the better and actually starts looking like a home again

We gave them two weeks notice before ANY work took place. This is now two weeks on from the start of work so that's a months notice to this point. We understand that the noise carries right through the house and that she's at home, but the work has to be done at some time and that will be during the day. They renovated their house just before I moved in so she knows what it's like and she's even said so herself. She just likes to moan. Even today she's been in asking the plasterer if he can be quiet. Yes he can....if you want to pay him for an hour or two to sit on his arse. But we're paying the bill so he'll work through thanks very much miss whingebag. She also can't just moan about the current noise. She always has to bring something up that happened a week or so ago just to add another little whinge in. Even though they're moving in a week or two's time, I'm trying to keep things polite and civil just in case anything on their moving house falls through. We'll be stuck with waring neighbours. Claire, I hope you die in the face.
