Adverts that start when you're reading an article that you haven't clicked on, and don't want interrupting with their music, so then you either have to click off the page, or hunt around trying to turn the sound off on it.

^^^ A LOT of news sites do this now and it drives me mad. They have a clip of their top news item that starts playing when you land on the site.

For me it's 'WOWCHER?!'.

I think I could only tolerate it if every utterance of that exclamation was made after I appeared in the advert and punched each person in turn.

That Rosetta Stone advert where the guy's supposed to be learning Japanese - the dubbing is so bad it makes me cringe with embarrassment and loathing

In fact, anything badly dubbed.

I do have a particular loathing for adverts though. If you're going to try to flog your stuff on the telly, at least make a bit of an effort
