Doesn't matter IMO, makes her look spineless & Simon like the one who pulls the strings. Lloyd to go next week i reckon (hope)!

Fabulous result, but also reading in the paper today that Jedward have been receiving death threats so maybe good for them too.

Death threats are way too harsh. I didn't like them as I thought they were totally devoid of any musical talent whatsoever, but they conducted themselves very well and it's not their fault they were in the show, Louis shouldn't have put them through in the first place (how he thought they were worthy of a place is beyond me).
Still, Lloyd to go next week please, then we'll have 4 acts left who are all pretty talented, and I wouldn't complain too much about any of them winning (Joe's performance this week really won me over). Despite being in the bottom two I still think Olly will win, I think some of his fans didn't vote for him as they would have assumed he was safe, so maybe voted for someone else to get Jedward off.

To me she did what she had to do and actually voted them off rather than taking the route of letting it go to the phone vote results. I don't think she looked spineless at all unless I've missed something.

Seeing as (as far as I know) she is the only person in the whole series who has actually made a decision without letting it go to Dead lock I would hardly call her spineless! BB x |

If she wanted to teach Simon a lesson...because according to him it wasn't a singing competition - which is one of the reasons he DIDN'T eliminate Jedward - which is the point she tried to make and failed...then she was spineless for making the point and then NOT backing it up by going to deadlock.
I'm not saying she shouldn't have voted for Olly, but I'm saying she made a HUGE deal of saying 'Is it a singing competition?' got no answer - clearly wanted to toy a bit with Simon and then said 'But hey, Simon, you do what you want, I'll never cross you anyway because you sign my paycheck!' Spineless! PS..someone voted Rikki (?) off too, didn't watch it so don't know who, but know it didn't go to deadlock.

But you can still make a point and then follow it through by doing the right thing which is what she did. She made her point vocally and then followed it through by voting off Jedward. She'd have looked even more stupid if she had tried to make a point about it being a singing contest and then backed out and went to deadlock. She believes it's a singing competition and voted accordingly.

I'm not asking you to agree with me, I'm telling you what I think. I think she's too scared to stand up to Simon, end of, and would have voted for his act whatever, despite him voting tactically against her. I don't think she's brave, I think she's the opposite. She made the right decision, but she just made that smug git 100% smugger.

I agree with you Desmo, I think Dannii was completely in the right and was more pissed off that Lucie went out because of Louis making it an entertainment show not a singing competition. Thats why she was making her point, and I think she is pretty honest with all of her voting.
There was no doubt Olly should have stayed, he was fab!

I don't think anyone agrees with me but hey, that's life , I can live with it. I still think Dannii Minogue judging a singing competition is like Cheryl Cole giving marriage advice.
