One thing I will say about achievements is they have pushed me to finish more games than I probably have done at any other time in my gaming life. I also know how bad I am at getting back into games. For example I'm still kidding myself I'll have another run through of Too Human and holding onto it but if I'm honest I probably won't. Where did you get up to in LO? Much further to go? |

But I wanted to do the Temple of Enlightenment before finishing and my save file is somewhere in the middle of that and I'm too idle to get on with it I will do though, just have to be in the right frame of mind as I don't want to rush through the end of such a good game.

Been trying to get into this the last couple of days and it's just not capturing my imagination yet. I'm only about 4hrs in so hoping it just needs more time to get exciting.
It's not that I don't like it, it's just not giving me that 'ooh just five minutes more' feeling. So I feel a bit like I'm going through the motions :/ On a technical note, bit disappointed by the lack of a decent physics engine, sure I can kick along a tyre for example, but walking through swings does sod all! Only a minor gripe but something I noticed that seemed a bit silly.

Physics was the biggest flaw in Oblivion too . (aside from the graphics - which are stunning in Fallout 3).

I found it hard to get into at first, partly I think because I was comparing it too much to Fallout 1+2.
It does start off really slow, even after you get out of the vault, but does pick up once you find a few more locations. On a side note, I did have my first real "oh f***" moment on Friday. Spoiler Alert! - Highlight below to read! I was on my way towards Fort Banister when I came across a Super Mutant by some train cars, took him out easily and went in to loot everything. Get down the bottom of the hill and see a red mark show up on the radar behind me, turn round to see a Behemouth come flying at me. What made it worse was that I'd left my Fat Man & Missile launcher at home as I was on a looting run, cue loads of back peddling, stimpacks & swear words but the sod went down. End Spoiler Alert! |

I heard you can get this for £20 but where from?
I so want this game, tempted to stick it on the credit card as payday is still two weeks away.

If you haven't made the Dart Gun yet, get to it. It will cripple the legs of any two legged enemy, making them stumble and limp towards you. Makes things like Behemoths and Deathclaws piss easy as they simply can't get near you End Spoiler Alert!

well that sucked.
Got all set to say sod it and stick it on the credit card. So went into Woolworths on the way home as I walk past it and they don't even sell pc games.. Loads for all the consoles but no pc games.
