Your game of the year:Smash Bros Brawl
Single player gaming experience of the year: Bioshock - late last year strictly speaking, but I didn't get to play it until I'd built a better PC and since Einstein says time is relative it's on my 2008 list. The movies bound to be crap though
Multiplayer gaming experience of the year: Warhammer Online: Some content missing at launch but what was there was sooooo incredibly well polished and tested it was easy to forgive. Great communication from Mythic regarding what they're working on and continual tweaks and stability patches to improve gameplay. The Wow crowd don't know what they're missing out on.
Biggest Letdown of the year: Fallout 3 being released with bugs that mean I can't even get past the first cutscene. 2 months on and still no patch from Bethesda.
Surprise of the year:The number of people that think a fancy bathroom scale can significantly improve their fitness levels.
Game or gaming innovation you're most excited about for 2009: Old Republic MMO or Dawn of War 2
