It is a great game but sadly with currently unfulfilled potential. That being that while there are some great community levels out there, they're few and far between the hundreds of 'easy trophy' levels. This is changing however, with media molecule deliberately sabotaging the trophy levels by making them not appear in the community levels unless specifically searched for and encouraging unique levels to be more popular. It will take time i guess, some of the better levels are so complex i'm shocked people have managed to make them in only a couple of months.
The single player game is great, but sadly due to a rather shabby netcode the game is only playable if you join with friends that you KNOW have a good net connection. Seeing as the game really is meant to be played with at least one other person it made it difficult, as i would have to wait for someone (typically Spaceh from OcUK) to come online to play with. Once you are online with friends with headsets the game really comes into its own, i'm typically quite reserved with voice comms but in this game i was screaming with such glee i thought only capable of a 5 year old when we would successfully complete a difficult 2 player challenge. There's no denying it's one of the best games i've played this year, it's just a shame it isn't without its faults. MM have promised to work on the netcode in the future and continue to 'moderate' community levels in order to encourage originality so in time, the game will improve, it's already quite a bit better than it was on launch day. As i stands i would say Drakes Fortune: Uncharted followed closely by Resistance 2 and MGS4 are the games to own a PS3 for. LBP is certainly something to get if you own the console but i wouldn't recommend forking out for JUST that game yet. In a few months when the niggles have been sorted i would certainly recommend it.

Was speaking to a friend who has been in the KZ2 beta for months. He isn't allowed to say much (but he kinda did ), but what he did say is, despite being a beta with only a couple of maps, it's still his most played online game. The 'feel' of the guns is in his words are 'as good as the original Halo' and the graphics are meant to be immense. He said it was a little like Halo spliced with CoD4.
Sounds good to me! I'm going to write it off as fanboyism though, always less likely to be disappointed if I ignore the hype. That said, his favorite console was actually the Xbox as he was addicted to Halo ;p

I remember seeing the video at E3 2005 and thought it was great. Glad to see it is finally getting released. It will have been out around a month by the time my contract is up so I'll be able to make a decision then.
