True Blood - Vampire drama set in the deep south of the US with a british star (although like Hugh Laurie he's pulling off an excellent american accent). Season 1 just started on channel 4, but me and Mrs Dym have seen both seasons and reckon it's ace
Fringe - Sexy x-files type thing based on an investigation team who employ the use of 'fringe' science. Watched the pilot last week and thought it was pretty good, will update if it gets better/worse in subsequent episodes. Rude Tube - Alex Zane presenting videos from the web. A new series of 'top 50' countdowns began last night with Heroes and Villains (Linky), moderately humourous, lots of stuff you'll have seen before, but there was at least one video which gave Mrs Dym a fit of the giggles

I don't watch much tv but lam loving Harper's Island.
I'm a sucker for medical drama so Holby City (plus of course I like to watch Connie Beauchamp's lovely bottom), Casualty, House are a must. At the moment I'm glued to my Northern Exposure boxsets though!

Love this show, the first 2 episodes of season two on Sky one have been ace so far, as was series one.

Band of Brothers.
Blue Planet Planet Earth Those in HD are an absolute must. Charlie Brooker Screen/gameswipe are just piping hot satire, brilliant, I echo Rich's recommendation. Another for Breaking Bad too. Spooks, Life on Mars, Wire in the Blood. All those can be pretty good.

The Shield - easily the best and most gritty police series I have ever seen. Nearly on to series 5 of 7 and I'm completely hooked with the story and where they're taking it. If you've never seen it, I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. |

Flashforward's pretty cool I'm enjoying that atm.
Deadwood Band of Brothers. Was going to recommend Chuck as well but I'm starting to get bored of it. Sarah and Chuck's love life is getting tedious and so is the dweeb antics of the rest of them.

Best show on TV at the moment is Modern Family by a mile. I genuinely love every cast member, they've all made me laugh.
