I rarely go over my limit and Orange said OK last time. They didn't this time though so I downgraded and I'm waiting for the right phone to come along.

I have never been able to understand why people use a mobile as a digital camera. Using it as an MP3 player I can understand but you can get such decent quality, very small digital cameras like the 10.1 megapixel, 4x Optical Zoom Sony DSCS950B for £100 from Amazon.

In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

Because some people want to take snaps, and not really give a stuff about super high resolution etc? Just a point and click camera, and why not have one within the phone? Most people carry their mobile on them all the time, which allows them to snap stuff as they see it. Unless you're into photography you don't always carry around a digital camera otherwise really, do you?

Definitely.

Also money, I can't justify £100 on a camera that I might not necessarily use regularly. So I'd rather have an all in one tool in the form of my phone that does everything adequately or better.

Thirded. I have two digicams, but I don't carry them around unless I need them. If I need a quick snap I use the 2MP camera on my phone - it's good enough for keeping a record of something that I'd otherwise not have.

People say that but I never go over and always get good deals of o2.
Last year I got 200mins and 400texts for £8 a month, no handset
best to phone them up and ask to be put through to retentions or say your thinking of leaving due to a better deal.
Last year I just said 200mins, 200texts on 3 for £10 a month. That deal didn't even exist.

I picked up a Nokia 5800 at lunch time on a whim (I was quite happy with my 6300 but am due an upgrade so went for the logic that I could always stick it on ebay) and having only played with it for 10 minutes I'm sold!

Excellent touch screen and load of functionality out of the box. It's not quite a Jesus phone but it's bloody close and it fits in my pocket along side my Crackberry.

I promise to update my Touch HD thread when I have the chance, I have to say though it is an amazing phone and has everything you need IMHO.
