Well this is where it gets controversial : I love chocolate. I (will hopefully) love (my own) flapjacks.
But chocolate flapjacks?!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!! You either choose Brownies, or Flapjacks: non of that intersnacktual debaunchery!

I now know you like chocolate. I assume you like cookies? Yet you have cookies with chocolate in them in your sig. Surely that's also wrong?
There is nothing wrong with having a layer of chocolate on top of your flapjacks

Oh cookies are a whole different matter and you know it...
Brownies, flapjack, cake et al are delicious snacks of a sweetened nature... Cookies however are a way of life! Make way feeble christianity and bow down to your Sweet Sweet Cookie Overlords! Quote:
...*cough*... sure.... if you're into that kind of thing....

*is very scared about recieving brown lumpy mixture in the post*
In the meantime: BEHOLD!... Ingredients: - 70 grams of salted butter. - 30 grams of marg/utterly butterly. - 80 grams of dark brown sugar. - 250 grams of scots porridge oats. - 2 generous tablespoons of golden syrup. Method: - Preheat oven to 200 (180 for fan assisted) Gas Mark whatever (I have a Neff Dual so Nyerr ) - Melt the butter and marg in a deep saucepan on a very low heat. - Add the sugar and syrup and stir until dissolved into an unappetising brown coloured sploosh. - Stir in the oats bit by bit until covered with the ever goldening sploosh. - Spread the mixture into a greased baking tray (I tend to drop a splash of vegetable oil in the middle and wipe around with kitchen roll). - Place on a middle shelf for 15 minutes but keep an eye on it - remove immediately when the edges begin to catch turning golden brown. - Stand for 2/3 minutes before scoring the mixture into desired chunks. - Cover the tray with a couple of sheets of kitchen roll and leave until cool. - Chop, Nom & Marvel at your accomplishments.
