No, I disagree. Who did you hear that from, Nanoman, rp2000, wwwebber?
It's a nightmare on the PS3 pad. The joysticks just aren't sharp enough. Plus, you can download our ghosts and race us over Xbox Live. I've played the PS3 version and there is nothing in terms of graphics or sound other than Xbox360 is likely to get more DLC if anything (as is the case with a LOT of games now).

I also played Killzone 2 at the LAN for the first time, my goodness is it average and the delay between button press and action borders on criminal. Sure it looks pretty (although I don't think it looks as pretty as many say - it's pretty much a very, very limited colour pallette). I'd be surprised if Resistance 2 wasn't better and I've played many better FPS games over the last 12 months than that. LBP is good, but as a single player game it's quite boring, sure the levels are good that you can download but you're talking 50 crap ones to one good one and most are just there for people to get trophies (Sony's awfully executed Achievement alternative). Clever game, but I've played flash games that rely on very similar principles, but LBP does have a brilliant protagonist in Sackboy. I've not touched the game in around 2 months though.

As Psymonkee said, Mirror's Edge is on the Xbox360 and I know it has DLC available. Fallout 3 is on both, but Xbox360 has 3 excellent DLC chapters (only 1 has been released, next is start of March then next end of March) and they are exclusive to Xbox360. Same for GTA4 DLC The Lost & Damned. I believe Tomb Raider also has exclusive DLC for example. I can't think of any PS3 games that have exclusive DLC. For me in the period of time you've been away the Xbox360 has moved on leaps and bounds and the PS3 really hasn't offered anything other than a HOME beta which is possibly the most dull thing ever - you can currently play chess... and that's it.

I am a fan of my PS3, aside from it's limited software, poor exclusives, less DLC, poorer ports (Fallout 3 and Resident Evil 5 are 2 new games that are still guilty of this), inferior online system and godawful control method, it's great at media playback and is my system of choice for playing downloaded AVI files.

LBP is not the be all and end all of gaming, it was another game massively over hyped by that lot firmly in the Sony camp. Several of us here own it.
I would personally always go bigger, but a great 32" is better than an average 37" TV.
