Have only recently started digging as previously it's been to cold/hard.
I am aching like **** today from the last few days digging to be honest & I had to much to do this morning & ache to much to be bothered today. Initially planting thoughts are 3 types of specialised tattys some Jacket spuds & some Courgettes as well as the normal Onions, Carrots, Peas & Beans. I do plan on doing some Strawberrys this year as well.

More digging today & I must say I am flying through it, Second year is So much easier.
My soil is Awesome, rich & easily worked with Untold worms steaming around. I should have taken some pics but at the moment it's just earth.

eek I know the feeling I have a lot of digging to do this weekend.
Well finally in and settled, got two herbs on the go and some mushrooms. Pay day this Friday and house deposit is on it's way to the bank. So will start on the garden this weekend.   I found a mushroom grow box in asda and knew I had to have it  Now the very overgrown plots and borders I'm going to have to dig out.      So I have a reasonable amount of space to work with.

My rhubarb is going Mental.
 I was up there digging today I should have got some pics, Got loads in & most of it dug over but it's tough going.

Don't think I'll be going up today as I'm having one of my can't be arsed days.
 Next time up I'll get some pics of the Plot & my shiney new Stainless steel tools I bought myself tuther week. Bought myself a Fork/Spade & rake All stainless & worth every penny, Using the fork is loads easier as mud doesn't stick to it at all so it slides in & when you lift it out you are only lifting the fork rather than a ton of wet mud.

Strawbs are looking happier now out on the balcony. Got 3 types: normal fat eating variety, pink flowering and wild. Our lettuces have sprouted now so should be ready in a few weeks. Mint has popped back up, parsley and chives are doing good. Tree onions have also popped back up but I think it's stifling the garlic so I might move it into its own pot. The lavendars and rosemary are taking their time but I think the rosemary needs replacing. Chamomile is about to get rampant and I notice it's made its way into everything else
 . Cherry toms are being slow as usual. Th eonly thing that hasn't done anything yet are the basil seeds in the kitchen. I think I'm just going to have to nurse it along and keep my fingers crossed.
