I don't create all this playlist crap
I just select all, press on "random" and just click on next if I don't like the song. Furthermore I have many thousands of songs that are not tagged and I'm definitely not bothered about tagging them all either

Amarok on linux probably, although i have very little experience myself, i probably wouldn't be able to get the sound working unless it worked out the box
And mediamonkey is based off winamp anyway
