I had a boasty encounter with an old uni friend who was so up her own arse about how she's been doing promotional charity work all around the country for the last few months - and then was all smug at how she was on 13k/pro rata...

She didn't understand or even begin to take on my point when I asked as her travel and accomodation expenses were paid for, would she be donating her wages to the charity in question.

Mug.

It's across all the brand. They did it to me at the weekend :/ We are refunding left right and centre when people get home and read the bill and think 'WTF?'

Those of you who think charity employees shouldn't be paid need to remember that you do need to pay to get good staff. I was never paid a good wage when I worked for the RSPCA but we had better staff and managers than other charities who didn't pay or paid less. It's speculating to accumulate.

I'm always tempted to say 'how long will it be before my donations have paid your salary and start going to the people that you're pretending to help?' But I normally just walk behind them when they turn and try to acost someone else.

If you have a bad ebay experience, give those details instead of your own. Two lots of revenge for the price of one. Then pop onto the interweb to donate to a proper charity.

Simples!
