Yeah I thought the same regards the martial arts training as soon as I saw his left hand drawn back with palm facing upward.

I wonder how many windows the guy lost after the event, how many chavs were on his doorstep every night making his life miserable for whooping their chav mate. You can lash out at this scum and its all very well but the tossers keep coming back and they bring mates and weapons best to retreat and call the cops tbh

Given how the situation appears, I'd say he made the best call possible Mat.
On his own front doorstep there isn't really anywhere to retreat to. Knowing that they can cause trouble and be far away by the time the police respond is what makes them more likely to do so; knowing that their intended victim is not going to sit there and take it is what makes them have second thoughts. Or possibly first thoughts in this particular case
It really does demonstrate the old saw about bullies being cowards at heart.

Good on him.

I like how one of the crowds closes the man's gate almost out of respect.
Agreed, looked like a focussed, confident planned strike to me.

Good on him.

The article about the first video does say he's a trained martial artist Good on him, if move people did that the yobs would think twice about who they square up to.

I knew he had to be a martial arts expert. Thanks for confirming Mark. Definitely looked like he was used to that sort of behaviour with his bodylanguage and calm demeanour.
