Is it worth trying to see a Chiropractor to see if they can diagnose whats causing it. Painkillers are all very well (and I love them dearly) but is it worth trying to find out what it is?

I asked the question today and was told that it's muscular, I put it out when I was moving some heavy kit a couple of weeks ago and that it can take a while to get better. I've had muscular back pain before and I concur with what I was told. It is a bit better than it was so it does appear to be slowly on the mend.

Furry nuts. Bruised my cocxyx (sp) once, so I know how much back pain can hurt.

I hated have back pain, took months to sort mine out unfortunately. They told you to do swimming to help it? They recommended that I did some exercise, front crawl specifically.

I hope it sorts itself out soon

bummer Just try to make the most of it and take it easy. Once you're back at work you'll be wishing you were off again . Muscular pain is so painful & frustrating because it brings you down so much as you're aware of it all the time. *gentle hugs*

Aye, I've got those. One, three times a day with food.

Big oily back rub in order, preferably from six young partially dressed virgins?

Have you looked at getting any treatment on it? Should clear it up much quicker than just taking some pain killers.

Diclofenac and Codeine are the two best painkillers around for backs imo! However a bit of deep tissue massage or chiropractic would probably benefit you immensley, and prevent it coming back in the future.

Absolutely agree with Vix. I bang on about osteopaths but there's a good reason. They are magical!
