I enjoyed that, it's still got the ability to have me amost wetting myself with laughter. I think that it might be difficult if you've never seen it before because there was very little background there, just a few in jokes and one was expected to already know the characters. Piggy and Desmo, it's worth finding the first series and watching the first couple if you've not seen it before.

You won't feel 'the love' if you don't know any of the characters & the relationships theyve built over 2 series. Watch it from series one, then you'll have a better sense of it. To be honest I though Sinead might not like it but thought you would.
I thought it was superb tonight for the opener if the 'awkward' 3rd season. didn't think it'd live up to the other 2 but I think it held up well against them.

I've watched all 13 episodes in just over 24 hours for the first time, and this last one didn't feel out of place at all. The one thing I'm waiting for in this series (though they may save it for the film) is Jay standing up to his dad.

Yeah, maybe it is one of those character things. I found it amusing but don't think I proper laughed once. Can't be bothered going back watching the first lot as I'm not really a "series" person. Guess I'll just have to miss out

I barely raised a smile until the bit with Simon's testicle. I hope the rest of the series is better.

Desmo, I felt the same about Gavin and Stacey - for years I was like "meh don't get what all the fuss is about" till someone gave me the first two series and sat down and watched them all.
Now everytime its on I think of you and Sinead lol. Like others have said I would have thought it would be right up your street! BB x |

Maybe it is the character thing and I'm not getting the in jokes. But I also got bored of people saying f**k every other sentence. Maybe I'm just getting old
