'Bomb site'? You ain't kidding - if I didn't know better that's certainly what I might call it. :/

Still, at least it is progress, even if in a 'gets worse before it gets better' way, though I think I'd probably be finding a hotel if that was my place (the dust would probably just about finish me off and I'm not even asthmatic).

It's no wonder the landlady has been sympathetic.

Well I'm getting close to "holiday mode" so not too worried now.

Furthermore, she offered me a bottle of wine, and has agreed either a suspension or conciliatory reduction of rent for the month.

She's a well educated honest and decent woman actually - so t'is all good.

Just a ****ing palava and pain in the arse.

However, I shall be in the sun tomorrow so I'm not caring!

Just not looking forward to getting the place set up and tidy again... any volunteers? She's getting it deep cleaned though - but it will take a good day to get the place set up (most importantly the surround sound/tv etc...

).

It does - it always needs a bit of tweaking though

It's just a pain having to effectively "move in" again!
