Feeling real sore this morning & my Willy(Bell end) has gone a dark shade of Mauve. My Willy has been well & Truly Smashed
My right side groin is really tight now so I can't stretch my right leg out properly so walking is awkward & painful & of course the small of my back is giving me jip.

I here what your saying Johnny69 as this crash has really bothered me as I cannot think of one single thing I could have done to prevent or avoid this accident, If I had been speeding or dressed dark or any other excuse it wouldn't be so bad but I've told a few now that even if a cop bike rider was going up there he wouldn't have been any safer than me.
Fact of the matter is if you ride a bike on the road then you put your life in the hands of idiot car drivers no matter how cautious/visible/slow you go.

Yikes, so many cretins on the road now

As odd as this sounds, take pictures showing the bruising. Do this every day and keep a diary of all the problems you are having. That way when you go and claim PI you can show pictures to the doctor of just how nasty it was.

Glad you're in one piece

When will you find out about your pelvis?

I was x rayed yesterday & my pelvis is fine bone wise so I s'pose it's just tissue/muscle damage that's aching. To be honest I'm just glad I've still got my tackle as it felt like I'd ripped summit off when I was laying on the road/kerb, As I came to a stop everything down there went really warm like when your boot/shoe/trainer fills with blood, I just kept my legs together & everything tight hoping it would hold everything in, It was quite a funny moment though when I had a female paramedic & a female police officer standing there whilst I was instructed to stick my hand down there & check for blood as my blood pressure was low the first time they took it, I stuck my hand down there & shuffled about then literally Shouted It's All There +

Glad to hear your ok. It's amazing how time slows down and allows you to at least make the situation better.
What a numptey but at least he admitted he was in the wrong, I suppose we're all human after all.

Just goes to show that having the right gear on is damn near everything when it comes to surviving proper bike accidents.

Glad to hear you're OK and mostly undamaged, aches and strains aside. GWS and keep plenty of evidence for his insurance.

Noooooo! Glad you're alright (apart from the, ahem, gentlemans area). Is this the nike from the motors thread? That you've done so much work on lately?

Yes mate it is the bike I've done untold work on, Complete sickener to be honest as I got the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle Saturday morning & after fitting it the bike is/was 100% perfect.
I went & got my bike this morning with a Luton van with a tail lift so I didn't have to lift anything. Now the bikes back I just want to strip it out & get it fixed so I can get myself out on it as quick as possible. Of course I am crapping myself but I'm not the kind of person to let summit beat me.

Glad you're ok mate - having had a similar incident happen to me I can sympathise - fortunately I only had very minor bruising.

Hope you get the value of the bike back and you're back on 2 wheels soon.

That sucks. I mean, it's bad enough to have an accident, and in the scheme of things, the bike doesn't really matter as long as nobody was seriously injured, but it's still gutting to put so much work into something and then someone messes it all up.

It was a bit like my TVR. I spent ~£8500 doing work on it. I had sorted out all the crap, and was at a point where I could start spending money on the nice things, like upgrades, when some bird wrote it off on the M1.

Anyway, hopefully you'll get it fixed (again) and get back out there asap.
