I was convinced Titanium was hypoallergenic? Like the only metal to wear if you are one of the slim few that can't wear silver or even gold!?

I always thought Ti was good in that respect too

So did I, but it seems that a small number of people are. It's just my luck... I also have another condition (wolf parkinson white syndrome) that is very rare... Why can't I be one of the small number of people who win the damn lottery instead? Lol.

I got a titanium watch for that reason & can't wear that either because my wrist just swells up, goes red & scabs up when I wear a watch for any length of time, whether it's silicone,.gold, silver, stainless steel etc... I didn't realise it could be a proper ' condition' rather than just localised dermititis. I can wear all of those things elsewhere just not as a watch : huh:

Hmmmm, not sure about that. I can wear steel, silicon, whatever else watches without any issue. I never bought the titanium version for it's hypoallergenic properties, I just liked the fact that it was lighter, but now I can only wear it for a day or so before my skin goes blotchy and itchy. My other watches are still fine.

In the hand it does feel worryingly cheap, but one the wrist you barely notice it's there
