I've recently finished CoD2 after it became available through Steam.
I'm in two minds over the health thing as well, but I guess its no more unrealistic than the whole instant heal from a health kit, and it did stop me doing my usual trick of memorising where the last health kit I saw was. Ending was poo indeed, I'd have loved something more involving like the liberation of Stalingrad from the first game (one of my favourite parts of that game) Will try it on hardest settings at some stage soon and see how well I fare.

It can't be as bad as the ending from MOH:AA though, it just went to a black screen and said "The End" when you finally finished it. It was like the developers ran out of time and money and couldn't be arsed any more

It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. |

CoD1 if I remember rightly ended with the taking of Berlin. Even if it was just another mission you had a feeling of accomplishment.

Doesn't CoD2 end with the Battle for Hill 400? Or was there another level I blanked out because it was lame?

The Hill is definetly the best bit and revvs you right up. I love a good kick off and killing folk ingame is top.
Then after that when you are all revved up and wanting more there is the panty style ending, GGrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Best bit of COD is coming face to face with a Nazi in some bunker or trench and sticking your rifle butt in his face. Ultimate Pooooooonage (how old am i ) I assigned a side button on my mouse for me rifle butting and took it online. Severe Garrand pwnage was dealt out and if i got close to you then the Butting began **** it makes me wanna go play it. Nowadays i steam about on 64 man BF2 maps infantry only and if i get close to you i will Stab you dead |

They're capital bonds and can be spent in lots of shops - HMV being one. I'll be spending some in there (probably get a hard drive, live account and other stuff for the 360 as well as some PC games) and spend the rest in Threshers or Vicky Wines

Nice one
Occassionally when I was working they'd give us £20-30 High Street vouchers just as a bonus for a good month, loved that
