Thast what I mean. It would take a certain amount of maniplation and control of the weaker party, and this has happened so quickly would that be possible?

Its interesting that all the murders took place in relatively close distance to the A14. If you look at the map you can very quickly be back on the A14 travelling away from the scene before the public remembers seeing say a car in the area.
Another thing to see how clever this person is, is what forensic evidence there is on him that is left on the bodies. For example some of the girls were strangled, now you are going to punch, scratch during the event, so hopefully there will be something from that. |

Women serial killers are very very rare (Hyndley and West aside, but they had male counterparts) It's unlikely, but not impossible I guess.

It's kinda worried me slightly about my safety - Pickers is away tomorrow night and normally I would have tutorial in town and he'd drive me in and pick me up. I would have to drive in, park and walk to and from the centre tomorrow and tbh, knowing there's no one at home and very few people about that I know, I'm not so keen. I think I might get someone to take notes for me! Normally I'm one of these silly "I'm invincible, it'll never happen to me" person... but for some reason this whole case has struck a nerve. It's obvious this chappy wouldn't come after me but y'know! I would think he's built relationships with these prostitutes so to carry out his needs. Interesting case. Worrying, but interesting. |

Now theyre saying that the serial killler could be linked with a murder 14 years ago. Thats quite along time ago, and a long time for a serial killer to keep control of himself (but then maybe thats why he killed 5 so quickly!)
Also it made me think that so many murders must go unsolved, and that means that people we see every day on the train could have done one and never got caught. I studied criminology at college so do have an interest in crime/murders etc

Now they're starting to link the current murders with one that happened many years ago - 16 yr old prostitute in Norwich - was found in Mousehold Heath in 1992 iirc.
Great.... [edit] ^^^ D'OH [/edit]

Ooh - they've got a new name - rather than the Ipswich Ripper - which was a bit crap anyway, especially as he hadn't been riping anyone open *as far as we know*
They've gone to the Suffolk Strangler. Much better...in a weird kinda way.
