Played the demo again this morning, and it's going on my pre-order list now. It's just so much fun jumping around the city, finding the hidden orbs, increasing your strength by killing the enemies with a kick to the face, then throwing cars at them when you're strong enough. I think it's one of those games that you'll play to explore the city, doing missions as you come across them, rather than going all out to find them. I can see this being a big hit when it comes out

It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

In a way that is the part that sold it for me I was looking across the city scape looking for the tallest buildings and trying to get to the top. It was awesome fun

The key to this thing's success and longevity will be the missions and activities I reckon, or rather, the amount and variation of them. The gameplay is good, and a novelty which has made the demo enjoyable, but it'll probably become stale without too much effort. I mean, nobody can really play GTA for any great length of time sticking only to walking the streets and killing people.

In the demo I did 2 missions where I had to infiltrate some compound and eliminate a target, and a racing mini game where I wasn't actually racing any opponents :/ Going to get bored of them very quickly.

I do like the game though, and it certainly has potential. Didn't play the full 60 minutes of the demo either so it's possible I missed a great deal.

I'll be renting it, although it'll probably be months till I can get hold of a copy on swapgame . I'm always slightly unsure of GTA style games and I find they can be very hit and miss for me personally.
With the GTAs I tend to get bored half way through and give up.
