I'm using the NZB's from newsbin, those are the ones giving me CRC errors. The only one that I got to work (24 Season 6 Episode 13) had spanish subtitles. Fetched Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 ok today though.

A fair few clients have been suggested already, but you might want to give newsbin pro a wirl. You have to pay for it, although a cracked version is very easily found.

I really don't understand all this newsgroup stuff, can anyone give me a quick rundown? I find Torrents come down far too slowly (20KB/s usually) and I wouldn't mind something that comes down a lot faster.

You need to subscribe to a premium newsgroup provider, I use
http://newshosting.com/index.php?PageName=services.php because they are cheap and good, the unlimited d/l package maxes out my 10Mb cable connection! You then need a program which you can use to fetch files from the newsgroup server and recombine them, I use http://www.shemes.com/index.php because it is cheap and good and you might want to use a facility for collecting together all the parts of the files you want using .nzb. I use http://v3.newzbin.com/ guess why? Takes a while to get everything sorted but once it is you'll wonder how you lived without it! MB |

Right, well after changing to the provider MB recommended, I have to say I'm starting to be turned. It's not so much the extra bandwidth I can fill (it's only a 2MB pipe after all), just the convenience of being able to find pretty much whatever I want, and if I can find it, actually being able to get it, rather than worrying about dead trackers or crappy seeders etc
Looking good so far
