Good job on throwing the keys instead of him (which would have been my reaction)!!

Should've whalloped him! No one would have blamed you if you had tbh.

And I don't understand why people pull out of gaps they can't see either. The other day I was riding along, had just been in view of this donut pulling out - i.e should could have looked left, seen this whole filter lane of cars start to pull away and ascertained from that that within a few seconds, the lane she wanted to pull into would be full...

I see her bonnet come out

I can't see her face, she can't see me

A few seconds later, she just rolls out, I jump on the brakes (my hands and feet were already on them because I could see what was happening) she jumps on hers too, and I roll past her giving her the evil black visor treatment before roaring off up the road

I'm just glad she poked her bonnet out first. She probably did it so I'd stop/slow down, and it did work, but then I got mardy and pushed through

Yeah, I remember.. wasn't a criticism of your driving, just a general comment. Everyone on the road is an idiot, and I see it most days, one way or another. Some stuff whilst driving has scared the living daylights out of me for hours; there have been more than a few near misses I've been involved in that have been caused by idiots ignoring the rules of the road and doing whatever the hell they want to. Some of them I've been left thinking "I wish he'd actually hit me" so that some folks would realise just how **** they are behind the wheel; but then I realise they'd never accept the blame, just blame me instead.

I always think people are idiots when driving, as experience has taught me that they generally prove me right every time. Thankfully I hardly ever get scared by anything though (bar my 95MPH spin off the motorway, but that would shake pretty much anyone I think). I've had some very close calls but, assuming I've managed to avoid it myself in some way, I'm usually more proud of my own driving to get out the way than I am scared about what nearly happened

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Oh yeah. They're all prats - I don't trust anyone on the road at all. It makes driving less fun but it's all about self preservation ultimately as well as saving some money!

today was a better day - still some ****wits on the road though grrrrr

And to add insult to injury I left my sandwiches at home

This BMW driver pulled out on me from a junction as I was driving past the courts earlier. Bloody BMW drivers.
