Hitman isn't too hard I don't think. I've got about 600-odd points and could finish it off if I had the time and inclination to do so. After playing each mission several times though it does get a bit dull so I'll be waiting a while before trying to finish it off
Oblivion is a very easy 1000, it's all storyline and guild based. The only problem is the time it'll take to do it, easily 30-40 hours I reckon to do all of the guild quests and main storyline.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. |

The kids have got some more arcade games to play now so I'm sure there'll be a good few points coming my way!
The achievement and points system is a fantastic thing for a console, I really believe that MS have got the online thing absolutely spot on with Live and the 360.

True dat. The achievement system will really pay this generation. People have a reason to chose the 360 over any other platform for those games that come out on several. As daft as it probably sounds to a non-gamer, it's for the achievement points.
They've done a lot of community things well so far. Publishing your live data for other sites/applications to use, the Forza site, the Halo 3 site - they've really made a great package with the console and service.

It not turns out that it's genius, a simple addictive system of giving you visual (the key element here - you want people to see what you have 'achieved' in games) credit reference for goals and tasks completed in game. Not only is it addictive simply getting more and more points, but it's also a brilliant way of knowing just how far a game is from completion, or when it's completly completed. It could well be one of the biggest revolutions in modern day gaming and it's definitely improved game sales, I know lots of people who have bought more games, or even games from genre's they aren't usually affiliated with purely to get more points. |
