Matt, are you sure that foldy ladder thing wouldn't suit - a stepladder on stairs doesn't really work as it'd be wonky (hmm, perhaps Huddy's one might suit then?!).

What about a long paintbrush intstead? I think you can get the rollers with extenders, might be easier. We need to paint our hall and up the stairs so will probably try something like that for it.

Going to do the dining room next week I think and Cliff's going to attempt some tiling in the kitchen!

I'm painting at the moment I bought an 18 litre tub of white emulsion and a big roller ... Might do some body painting first..

We have a light orangey colour for the dining room, same as the living room colour. Going for cream in the hall probably but I'd like a bit of colour in the kitchen too.

Huddy, the Crown 15L white emulsion was a bargain at B&Q.

The issue is getting to the edges as the wall will be one colour and the ceiling white. So getting a neat edge there is going to be damn near impossible without either getting closer or building a platform. I did think about getting a painter / decorator in. But at the prices he thought, he can forget it

I have the dining room to strip yet which should keep me busy, and allow me to ponder on the stairs/landing

Leanne was doing the walls and I was doing the ceiling I'm letting it cure over the week the I might get some Vinyl Silk to finish.

I'd like to leave the walls whit but the others are saying it needs colour..
Kitchen is looking good though
