Daz got his D8-whatever from EuroPC. No problems to report. Ring them up if they don't have exactly what you want as stock moves fast and the website doesn't always list everything they have.

Right i've settles on:
This and this only difference i can tell with the EuroPC model is Bluetooth and peace of mind (which isn't an issue). I'd be saving about £50 getting it from eBay. Any reasons why i shouldn't go ahead and nab this Buy it now from the bay of e?

There's a lot more different than just bluetooth (for the better on the eBay one, I should add).

Watch the resolution on them. The one I linked I deliberately searched out a fairly high resolution one as I suspect that's what gamers like.

Mind you, I run 1440x900 and have no complaints. Rather bigger screen though.

PS - watch Flibster doesn't grab it first.

Can't see any good reason not to buy the fleabay one. Bigger screen and similar spec for less money. Pity it doesn't have the 1920x1200 screen but nowt wrong with 1440x900.
With the graphics card supplied, 1920x1200 would be a tad optimistic in most high demand games anyway and 1440x900 is more than enough for general working. I've kinda got used to the 1920x1200 of the M1710 but I could easily live with lower.

Seller appears to be reliable (2868 @ 100%). Personally, I'd have it.

Me too tbh. If it weren't for my reluctance over D-series laptops, and my desire to clear debts, and of course not wanting to trample on a friend, it'd probably be gone already.

I'll be interested to see how that machine works out games wise. My CPU is a lowly T2600 and I'm seriously considering replacing it with a 7300 or a 7500 as it doesn't quite cut the mustard as far as I'm concerned (it's pretty poor on the Folding front tbh ).

I'd be grateful if you'd let me know how it performs

Right, back from yonder pub. Of course i'll see how it goes, but it won't be me doing the reviews though. So you'll have to rely on my brother, which unfortunately i wouldn't believe would be as subjective as me But its better than nothing obviously

That's alright. Can't be as bad as my brother - I had to stop him buying a £1200 PC for surfing the web and working with Excel spreadsheets
