Really really enjoyed myself last night. No way would a novice have been able to keep up unless they'd done all the prep beforehand. Glad I did some and made the salad dressing in advance etc.
Suprisingly beautiful meal. I thought it'd be good, but not THAT good. The scallops were absolutely perfect and that salsa that went with them was amazing. Definitely using that again with fish. Steak was fantastic, and I picked up a few good tips there. Potato wedges were a really easy dish that you could serve with almost anything, and the salad would be perfect for BBQ's etc. And as for the chocolate mousse.... MMMMM!!! Definitely will be cooking that again

Would definitely do it again and would definitely cook it for mates. Only prob is that good steak and scallops are damn expensive. Beautiful though!!

I took our steaks out earlier than he did because he said he was doing them medium. They were pretty much spot on!! I completely agree with you We'll have to re-create it some time
Trying to upload a couple of pics, but internet is being stupid so I'm going to cut things down in the garden instead

Right, couple of pics.. the red X's will disappear as and when my files finally get uploaded. Connection is AWFUL today.
Preparing by getting all the equipment I needed out. Set the table (ignore the car seat in the corner ) Starter... errrm.... I started eating and then realised I hadn't taken a pic, so sorry it looks a bit messy. OMG it was gorgeous though! Main. Steak looked SOOO much nicer than it came out on the pic. Tasted divine too. Choc mousse with bits of honeycomb..... NOM!!!!!! Wish I'd taken more pics, but just didn't have time. Thanks to Pickers and Pheebs for your texting support throughout

Yummeh! Looks great. Did you eat it all at the end then or have to scoff whilst cooking?
Just out of interest, what is the car seat doing in your living room?
