They felt it all the way down in Kent apparently - you must have been not far off. This is not the first time I've heard of quakes in the UK - there's been a few over the years IIRC.. I bet you they'll blame it on this "global warming" rubbish.

Ah boo. There's never any tornados or earthquakes or such down this way... I'm guessing we're just so far off they can't be bothered to quake their way here. |

If I hadn't read this thread, I would have totally forgotten, but I woke up in the night feeling that something was wring. The bed had made a noise like it does when the cat jumps on to it and there were other shaky noises too. I was so tired I didn't know if I was dreaming but it must have been the quake!

I think I slept through it. Had a crap nights sleep though so it might have woken me up without me knowing.
