You want an LCD unit? Does it need to be 1080p?

If it doesn't have to be 1080p then the Samsung LE40R87BDX can be had for around 600 notes.

Ray, if you don't know what 1080p is or does then I'd hazard a guess that it's not really for you. Save your money and get a 720p set

Now I get it, thank Leo.

Desmo, you are right, I prob won't need it, I mean I am happy with DVD so the improvement in quality will be significant over the CRT anyday. I've got my dad to go get it for me now, it's hard since i am at work so buying it off the net is a lot trickier.
