Do you want one with custom measurements?

Nah, I've got a grey background and I think it looks great sitting in the middle with the border.

Lucky you. Our lot have just implemented corporate desktop backgrounds. While my work desktops are joined to AD, my 'work' laptop isn't, and isn't going to be, so they can't have that one.

Do that and the shot will lose all sense of depth and will end up looking like a snap of a 360 for putting on eBay.

The shallow depth of field is what makes the shot interesting to look at.

With the lights out of focus? That might work but i'm not sure.

For the depth of field to be large enough to get both in focus though, it'll look pants, for sure.

I wouldnt want the lights OOF. If the Xbox is in focus, then the memory card slot things underneath would have to be as well, and that *would* look pants

Leave as is then?

I'm not so sure about this one personally. Does the DVD drive really 'pinch in' in the centre like that picture gives the impression it does? I haven't looked close enough to notice but other pics I've seen appear to contradict (different models perhaps).

As for the DoF itself, I'll leave that to those better qualified to answer than I. Depends on what you think the focal point should be though I guess.
