My bike has a nasty saddle on it. Took me weeks until I got even remotely comfortable sitting on it whilst cycling.

A fair number of people at work are now riding fixed wheel racers, through commuter traffic in London which I think is slightly on the insane side!

It looked like a bloody razor blade and felt like one too! Everyone hobbled out after the exam and there were squeaks all over the room when told to sit down at the end of 5 hours pretty much continuous bike usage!

OK, I meant that I don't have any sound while playing it at work.

Still looks like a fancy name for an exercise bike to me

It is an exercise bike - spinning refers to the name of the class you do with it although spinning bikes are supposedly more tough than your usual exercise bike.

I've done spinning once. I was so so tired all I wanted to do was sit down for a week, and sitting down was agony!

My friend does spinning, and I am would like to try it, but I have a feeling I would be dead VERY quickly! Is there an easy starter spinning class?

Not in my gym I did a standard 45 minute class after being told how amazingly quickly it goes. I'm peddling away thinking I'm a right sweaty tired mare but at least it'll be over soon... just to realise I'd only been going 10 mins
