Cool, my granddad turned his back garden into a allotment he use to grow everything, so did his next door neighbour, nobody is bothered about growing things or even just a few spuds or fruit, it doesn't take that much time to plant and feed them.
We have a strawberry plant in a tub for my niece but the summer was crap and about 10 strawberries grew all summer :S |

Once we've sorted the bottom of our garden, I reckon we should try and grow something down there

Build yourself a couple of raised beds mate & you'll be sowing in no time.

Went down to meet the Allotment dude @ 2.30pm. There was 5 plots behind the wooden gate with the 1st one already taken so we had a choice of 4. I went for the far end one with my Mas the next one in, So we have 2 plots next to each other that are brand new & have never been worked, They even have a tap there
A Plot. Chuffed to bits, Can't believe it's Brand new & has already been dug over, I'm just waiting for the paperwork now & then I'll get started with the digging |

That's what you call an allotment - can't believe how neat and tidy it looks
You should see some of the ones I've seen. First thing is to get some decent muck dug into that soil If you're anywhere near the NW you're welcome to a 15 year-old compost heap.
