Scratch that, all unlock songs completed
Not sure what to work on first - 1000 notes or expert career.

First tier completed, hand feeling sore though so giving it a break now, as it was causing me to suck.
I'd recommend the 1000 notes achievements, as I don't think it's that hard on Freebird, it just takes concentration. Get your star power timing right and you'll make the 400k achievement as well.

I think the way the money works for completing a song at a rating is you get the money for that skill level, and the skill level before.
So if you 5 Star an expert song without playing it on any other difficulty, you'd get the money for getting 5 stars on medium and hard also. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's how it works. |

Gonna be difficult to remember the timing, but I'll give it a shot!

~360k top score, dropping notes all over the shop though. You pretty much have to make it to the end dont you Davey?
Wonder if I'd be better trying to deal with higher speeds rather than long songs. I reckon it's gonna prove very difficult to maintain over such a long time.

When I did it I only missed one note and that was close to the end, but my two previous efforts were around 392k and I missed several notes in the middle (as well as mis-timed the star power) so I reckon it's still possible even if you miss some notes, as long as you nail all the star power bits and use it at the right time. I've seen someone score 432k on Freebird on medijum so it should be possible to miss some and not lose over 32k in score.

I've decided I'm more likely to do 1000 notes quickly than not, so Monkey Wrench on hard is my new candidate for that one - I'll come back to Freebird another time for 400k.
In other news, 4th tier of expert now - My fingers are starting to fall out with me I think Carry on Wayward Son took a few attempts, some well timed star power and some crafty fret sliding. War Pigs had a couple of iffy bits but was complete in 1 go and quite enjoyable.

I'm up to tier 3 now, Woman beat me twice through stupid mistakes, 3rd time was a charm. Came off so Lynne could watch TV, but I may play some more tonight before the boxing comes on.
