I bought this off Steam a couple of days ago after being tempted for a long time to get it but I has hesitated a lot. Oh my, what an awesome title. Oboibliboibin with guns baby!
I am leveling up too fast though because of that 'Swift Learner' perk, despite the fact that all I do is explore and do the odd quest. So far I hit Level 12 last night and I have yet to do the first step of my main mission, which is find galaxy radio station.

I'm currently playing this through a second time as an EVIL charactor . Its taken some getting used to as I always want to do nice things, but I cant allow that to happen this time!
Its great - I've found loads of places I never found the first play through - the capitol wasteland is HUGE! Going for 100% this time too (in terms of achivement). |

I just found out 10mins ago that the PC version has achievements, which can tie into your 360 account - if you sign in on the pc via games for windows, which I haven't done /me facepalms

Can you do that via Steam? Thought that had its own achievement system?

How much of a 'hardcore' RPG is Fallout 3?
For example, I tried Morrowind and it bored me nearly to suicide and when I tried KOTOR I nearly ate my own legs out of boredom. Is this more of the same?

I use the 360 controller to play PC Fallout and when I hit the globe button, a GFW box appears asking me to sign into GFW or create a new account. I always ignored it thinking pc acheivements were separate from 360 ones....doh
