Pickys screwed! All the major roads are shut! It's snowy... but very slushy too!

His schools not shut though. Annoyingly. But all the staff from Exeter aren't going in. *phew*

It was heaving down with snow this morning but the main roads were clear. The roads in town were a bit slippy and I only went sideways once.

It's fine here now, snow only really left of the grass and didn't seem to be any ice. It's started up snowing again but I don't see it being a major issue now people are back on.

Maybe we'll get another foot tonight, or Sunday night.

Dark and miserable, but white, here too. The weather forecast is slowly getting worse - a few days ago it was supposed to thaw yesterday, now we'll be lucky to touch zero, let alone get above it, today or tomorrow.

Need to go out tomorrow so I guess I'll be getting my 'snow shoes' out of the cupboard. That'll be an interesting experience as I've never had cause to use them before.
