I hated that map with the hostages. Think I'll be changing the gamma next time I play that map, I couldn't see a thing :/
Still, my new weapons buying binds worked a treat last night

I have to play about to see which weapons I like. I was just buying and running around with no rhyme or reason last night. Enjoyed it though.

You want me to post my weapons binds? I tend to stick with the same stuff for most rounds. Deagle, M4/AK, then either Flashbang or HE Gren and Vest+Helmet.

OK, here goes. Doing this all from memory but I hope I get it right, hehe.
bind kp_enter "buy helmvest" // Buys Helmet and Vest bind kp_plus "buy vest" // Buys Vest bind kp_minus "buy defuser" // Buys Defuser if CT bind kp_downarrow "buy m4a1;buy ak47" // Buys M4 if CT or AK if T bind kp_pgdn "buy deagle" // Buys Dessert Eagle bind kp_leftarrow "buy mp5navy" // Buys MP5 for either CT or T bind kp_5 "buy primammo" // Buys Primary Ammo bind kp_rightarrow "buy secammo" // Buys Secondary Ammo bind kp_home "buy flashbang" // Buys Flashbang bind kp_uparrow "buy hegrenade" // Buys HE Grenade bind kp_pgup "buy smokegrenade" // Buys Smoke Grenade Hope I've got all the weapon commands right :/ This is the layout I use although you can obviously change it around a bit to suit you. So I can now just start a round and hit (on the keypad) Enter, 2, 5, 7(and or)8 to get armoured up, M4/AK, ammo and then get a flashbang and or HE gren. That's my typical round. Sometimes I'll grab a smoke gren or dessert eagle as well. But it's just that much easier now I might add a shotgun to kp_star and a sniper rifle as well. Oh, I also added this to see the time left unitl map change. bind backspace "timeleft" Hope this helps

Worth noting, once you've purchased equipment, if you like what you've got and want to use it on the next round, when the round starts just hit b followed by r.
Once I've got a setup I like for the map thats all I do each round.

I prefer the manual route for some reason. Guess it helps in that if you don't die you can just stock up on grens and ammo

I prefer the manual version as well - I was using the four arrow keys but I've tweaked your settings there to my own requirements. Good call, didn't even think of using the keypad!
