If you haven't tried Braid I highly recommend you do. Great little platform/puzzler, lovely hand drawn style and great music. 1200 points to buy but I'm not regretting it so far.

In the trial you get to do all of World 2, and some of 3 and 4 (not sure what happened to 1!), and you should visit all three to get an idea of how they use the puzzle mechanics.

I briefly played the Braid demo last night and it seemed really good. But so pricey

I dont mind paying it if it's worth it (I would have paid 1200 for Puzzle Quest now knowing how much content there is). It *may* prove to be a little short for the price, but I dont think I'm going to feel short changed.

I'm a sucker for a puzzler as it is (I loved Eets), this just looks/plays/sounds so brilliant I couldn't resist!

I think the second hand market has skewed how much I'm willing to spend on Arcade games. 1200 points roughly work out as £10, I can buy 2 full games for that price if I look around :/
Plus I'd have to pay more anyway as I'd need to buy 2100 points in the first place.

I'll wait till a price drop I think, which is a pity as it does seem very different than most.

And you're right about the second hand market Jen. 4 for £20 pre-owned at Gamestation at the mo, mate of mine walked out with Forza 2, Crackdown, GRAW and Kameo (random last pick), which is a lot of gaming for £5 a pop.
