I think Beijing is an excellent game, after having it on rental for a week. Great fun, especially with 2 or more people. It's definitely hard on the hands/arms though

Most of them are World Records, so just a bit of practice is needed. Oh and a glove to save your hand from getting too hurt

Pretty decent, it's easily a 600 point game with a little bit of practise, and with a bit more practise, and perhaps somewhere to whore with online, you could get the full 1000.

I can't believe creature pulled back the 4k lead on me
I've spent the past couple of weeks busy watching the Olympics so hardly gamed and lost the urge to pointwhore when I did.

Hey, i've been watching them too

I recon I could have FM 1k'd by the end of the week if I really go for it, few more easy games, then back to the grind on games I currently own.

Nice
I've got Fable 2 pre-ordered but I think I'll wait till nearer the time with Gears 2 and probably rent Star Wars.

Cha-ching!

Only one that's definitely on my hit list is Gears - though only if the campaign is longer than Gears 1, and Horde (and any other co-op modes) make the grade. It's all about value for money.

I'll also be getting the new Scene It (been used all year, so I figure that's a safe buy), and possibly Left 4 Dead. If enough people on my friends list get it I think it could be a real good buy - there's something really appealing about tackling hordes of zombies with your mates.

[edit]And probably a couple of arcade games between now and then for good measure.

I'd put good money on it being longer, I think they learnt their lesson from the first game

Thankfully there is a nice gap between TFU and the other 2 but they appear within 2 weeks of each other
