I've always liked those composite tops with built in bowls.

...We were determined to have it and I'm bloody glad we did ! .... it's one of my favourite things !

We've popped the hob in to see what it looks like :-

Took a couple of pics of the lounge to email to my parents to show the progress so far :-

Hopefully the lounge will be nearer completion by next weekend !

I quite like the camping chairs tbh

It is looking nice though. Should get some paint on our walls this weekend... yippeeee

Nooooo, the chairs are getting really uncomfortable. In fact, last night I didn't sit on one the whole night. Mind you I was playing Tiger Woods golf on the Wii

Should be getting a call about our Sofa delivery soon

We've had a fairly productive weekend !

Saturday the skirting board was fitted :-

And the Intergrated Fridge/Freezer was fitted :-

New Kettle & Hob in place :-

Today we had a massive clear up and also fitted all the lights for downstairs :-

Kitchen Lights :-

We also bought a lovely kettle which lights up BLOOOOOOO when boiling and managed to order ALL of our lounge furniture which we are so so chuffed about !

We want nice solid Oak furniture but thought we would have to get it bit by bit as it's not cheap, we also thought we might struggle a little to get the whole lot in one range.

So we were on our way to Colchester and I saw a sign saying Pine and Oak furniture sale .. 25% off !

We popped and had a look and they had the perfect range and everything we wanted !! .. So we ordered up :

1 TV unit
1 Sideboard
1 Lamp Table
1 Extending Dining Table

All for just under a grand ! ... Soooo chuffed !

Hopefully it will be delivered next week so some of you can see but we'll post pics once it's all in situ

*is excited we are finally getting this place looking like a proper home*

We were going to do the last leg of our paint-a-thon but after the clearing up and stuff we were both hungry, tired and a little fedup so we left it at that and we're having a nice relaxing evening
